We Specialize in All Major Commercial Roofing Systems

Choosing the right material for your roof is just as important as the company you hire to install it. Johnson Roofing is experienced in the installation, repair, and maintenance of all major commercial and industrial roofing materials. We have extensive experience in re-roofs, new construction, storm damage commercial buildings, Shopping Centers and Schools.

Modified Bitumen Roofing

One common low-slope commercial roofing system, modified bitumen, combines hot asphalt (bitumen) with plastic and rubber additives, which are layered between sheets of fiberglass or polyester. Depending on how many layers were applied you’ll have control over the lifetime of that roof. These membranes are resistant to heavy traffic, punctures and tears.

EPDM Single-Ply Membrane

Often referred to as rubber roofing, EPDM (ethylene propylene diene monomer) membrane is a rubber-based product with a reputation for durability. EPDM roofing can be applied to virtually any roof surface making it a popular option.

Thermoplastic Polyolefin (TPO)

The material is made of a compounded thermoplastic polyolefin top ply, a fabric center that is polyester-reinforced, and a TPO polymer base. PO reflects solar heat, making it a popular choice where energy efficiency is important. Both PVC and TPO are lightweight, very sturdy against wear, and offers many color options if aesthetics are a concern.

Metal Roofing

While metal may be more expensive compared to other commercial roofing systems, metal requires less maintenance and often lasts 50-75 years. When it comes to fire, wind and impact resistance, metal roofing is the most resilient.
